On a lark I decided to do a Tau Kill Team for WH 40K. It will consist mainly of Stealth Suits, and maybe some Fire Warriors with Pulse Carbines. Anyway, got the first Stealth Suits done this week. Here they are!

Ooh they look neat stalking between the freaky trees (where did you get those?)

Really fine looking paint control.
Great start on your kill team.
Shoot and scoot.
Thanks for the great pics!

Those trees are part of a terrain set-piece GW used to sell--it's all hard plastic and came with some assembling required. The base also has a destroyed Rhino APC molded into it. Neat!
And thanks!

Although I do not paint Warhammer 40K stuff, I do enjoy seeing well painted models. You have done a very nice job painting these figures, and your photography really brings them to life. Well done sir!! Thanks for sharing.

A very nice start, always enjoyed painting the stealth suits of the tau myself, although I did a dark purple scheme.
Was there anything in-particular that inspired your paint scheme?
As for the scenery piece, it is a shame they do not do it anymore, although their citadel wood is quite similar it lacks the detail expected for that price...

Great stuff, Scott! Love the green!
Always had a strong affinity for the Tau models.

The paint scheme comes from a desire to keep things simple. Mainly accomplished with the Surface primer line of products. I wanted a military look.

Tooshay, I would never have thought of it myself.
I hope to see more of the kill team when ready :)
