Not really sure where to put this however I will be using them in my IHMN games so it make sense to pop it on here. Bought these from a local department store for £0.99p each, quick wash and dry brush and they'll look great for Dino wrangling! Not an original idea, more inspired some of the lovely stuff done by members of the forum - kudos chaps and chapesses!
A few more pics on the blog! - http://offtclub.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/2014-resolutions-and-three-kings-of.html (http://offtclub.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/2014-resolutions-and-three-kings-of.html)

Agreed!
Totally spiffing, old chap.
:-* :-*
And at that price: It would be rude not to.
;)

Cheers Chaps
I'm a sucker for cheap stuff!
I've drafted some Dino Wrangling rules for IHMN to go with them (they're on the IHMN child board for comment).
-
Those are great, very effective looking and a real bargain too. You can never go wrong with dinosaurs.
-
Love them! Reminds me of stop motion dinoes and the way they looked in my childhood dino books. :-*
-
Valley of Gwangi anyone? Lovely job!!
-
That was part of my inspiration!!!! ;D
-
Looking good, and you can't argue with the price! :D
-
They look wonderful, I'm a big fan of cheap toy animals too. Are these the vinyl kind or the plastic?
-
They're plastic prepainted things, there's a little bit of bend to them however if all you do is wash and drybrush then they'll be ok.
Just picked up some more so hopefully will be drafting up some racing rules soon!

Actually, Colonel O' Truth has done amazing things in conversion. I've seen the WIP's, and I still don't know how he does it! :o

Oh, gawd, I hope so! Please do share; even if I only read 'em, I find such such a treat!

The Colonel is truly terrifying in a good way :-*
For many years I played WFB and attended a (relatively) local tournament in Birmingham UK called Whoops Apocalypse, the highlight of which was the Steeplechase. This was run between games and was probably the most fun you could have with a dwarf and a steam unicycle, so I'll be adapting those rules with Dino's I think.

Nice... which poundshop (or whatever) did you get them from if you don't mind me asking (don't say HomeBargains, the nearest one of those is about 15 miles from me...)?
-
nice!
It tempts to play
-
Please do tell the name of the shop...hope it's a chain
-
Thanks Chaps
The shop is Boyes (kind of a department store). Not sure if they're a regular item or a one off. I'm sure I saw the same brand in The Works (I may be wrong).
Here's a link to the storefinder - http://www.boyes.co.uk/stores/store_finder.html
Dino Steeplchase is on its way ;D

They look great, a bit more Harryhausen than the ultra realistic ones you tend to get these days.
I don't know about anyone else but I can't get excited about some CGIed thing stomping round a screen, prefer my dinosaurs to look more 'man-made'
Might see if my boy has any of these in one of the boxes under the stairs
