Title: Front Rank WSS generic musketeers
Post by: summsi on January 21, 2014, 09:24:59 PM
Hi,

front rank says that these models ar for "many european armies from late 17th to early 18th century".

Could they also be used as english musketeers (especially independent companies in the colonies) from 1695 to 1705.

Did they wear that kind of informal tricorn ( and no gaiters)?

Thanks

The hat might be still too formal for some tastes. Perhaps Warfare are closer to the mark?

You could also use some of the Front Rank 1685-1700 figures for variety?

I'm not sure they mix as Front Rank are quite substantial?

I think that Warfare and Front Rank will not fit together.

And most of my figures are from the late 17th century range from Front Rank.

I wanted to use the WSS figures for variety!

Do Ebor's mix better with Warfare or Front Rank? They look of a similar style to the latter.
