I hadn't sculpted anything for a very long time but I recently found some motivation again. This sci-fi pilot may be the first of a small series of minis in 1/48 (~35mm) scale. C&C welcome. In particular, I'm unsure whether to change her hairdo.

@DowVooVoo
Thanks!
I decided to change her hairdo, but I'm still not convinced. I might resculpt her hair again.

She's cool. I prefered the short hair but I'd possibly give her more of a forehead. The hair was very low on her brow. Right arm could be tweaked slightly shave off a bit from the outer edge and build it up on the inside.

How come you chose 1/48 rather than 32mm?
cheers

Hi Iain,
Thanks a lot for the useful comments . She's been to the hairdresser again and I gave her a bit more of a forehead. I think I like this version best. I also worked on her right arm. While this leads to an improvement, the result is still not as good as on your photoshopped picture. The problem lies with the underlying wire armature and a real fix would force me to re-sculpt her arm from scratch, something I'm not overly keen on.
Scalewise, I agree 35mm is not standard and limits compatibility with available miniature ranges. However, 35mm is really the scale I like. To me 35mm minis look better than 28mm on the tabletop whilst still being playable for skirmish games. Finally, I find 28mm realistically proportioned minis (e.g. Infinity) too fiddly to paint and game with.
