Pulp Girl, exploring in the jungle, has been separated from her group. Hook is taking this chance to ambush and capture her. Will her friends be able to save her in time?

A zombie runs at Pulp Girl and she manages to hit him hard in the head, sending him down and out.

Her friends rush to aid her as quickly as possibly.

Pulp Girl splits her fire at Axel and old lady Shisha, taking out Axel. Lilith throws explosives at her and Pulp Girl evades with great finesse.

Lexin fires at Mr. Kerny, the lead of the expedition. Hook also shoots at him. Kerny dodges all of the bullets.

Once it's clear, Kerny jumps into the pickup and revs the engine.

Pulp Girl, fighting for her life, splits her fire again between Lilith and Shisha. The old lady is knocked down but Lilith ducks behind the trees for cover.

Kairi calls to Lilith to cease fire and to wait to catch Pulp Girl off guard. (Parley is played)

Everyone piles in the pickup and Kerny drives towards Hook, trying to run him over. Hook jumps out of the way.

Pulp Girl splits her fire again at Hook and Kairi, believing too heavily in her skills. Both of them shoot back, Kairi and Pulp Girl getting injured. Hook shoots again, knocking her down.

Kairi moves up to try and tie her up but is caught off guard and goes down next to Pulp Girl due to a kick in the shin.

Lilith throws one of her deadly explosives at the car, hoping to injure the passengers. Kerny is knocked out and the truck moves uncontrolled.

Lexin shoots at the car, trying to hit the engine or a wheel.

Hook tries to tie up Pulp Girl after Kairi staggers to her feet. Her unconscious state is unable to fight back and is taken captive.

Shisha throws a fire spell at the truck. Mak, now the driver, swerves to avoid damage.

Mak drives the truck directly at Hook, Kairi, and Lilith , hoping to knock them down or at the very least injure them. All avoid the hit.

Lilith throws a burst at the truck and Mak is forced into evasive action as he tries to avoid debris.

Naga leaps from the truck and attacks Lilith, not making it very far before being hit by a bullet. Bowler leaps out as well but Lilith dodges his pursuit.

Lexin shoots at Mike, having stepped out of the car, and misses. However, their ally Ogon runs at him, both of them going down in the fist fight.

Lilith throws a burst at the truck, getting Naga caught in the cross fire and Shisha cuts off the path to Hook with another blast of fire.

Mak leaps out of the car and knocks Kairi down with a bullet to her shoulder, enraged at the turn of events.

Bowler charges Lilith again, knocking her down and out.

Hook escapes through the jungle with Pulp Girl over his shoulder, laughing to himself. Will they be able to save Pulp Girl? Tune in next time to find out!
Josh and I played a game of Pulp Alley last night. It was a really fun game, using the Death Trap scenario. We kind of just forgot about the plot points and just wailed on each other. lol Maybe I'll be able to beat him next time.

OH! What a bloodbath this was.
Pulp Girl was splitting her dice every time she attacked, trying to break out of the ambush.
Hook threw everything he had at Pulp Girl to bring her down.
Pulp Girl's colleagues came roaring in on the truck and tried to run over Hook's gang.
They pretty much ignored every other plot point on the table and just kicked the stuffing out of each other. It certainly made for a rip-roaring good time! lol lol

always enjoy your AARs. who makes those attack/move markers? i've seen them in several AARs and the only ones i've seen similar are from litko but they're in different sets.

I'm pretty sure we got those from Litko.
FYI --- The only counters we actually use are little rocks to mark injured characters. The extra counters are only there to illustrate the action for the camera.

I don't think Dad would give up his hills. There have been many road side stops for large rocks and studying them to have terrain he's finally happy with lol

Ayup, no denying it, got to love cool rock formations! When we get back around to working on our wilderness stuff, I really want to try my hand at some of that cork bark stuff.

The palm trees are from pegasus right? They look really nice; how do you guys find them? I wouldn't mind getting some of my own.
Also the zombies, are they a part of Hook's league or are they scenario specific? If they are scenario specific, how do you handle them mechanically?

Yup, those are the Pegasus palm trees (various sets). We like them. I did just a couple bases and Mila did all the others by herself.
I think Josh was using Reanimated ability from the Perilous Island expansion for the Zombies.

There are several abilities that work good for Zombies. Reanimated was designed specifically for undead kind of stuff, but a couple others that I like to use are Animal (maybe the most versatile ability ever) and Mindless. ;D
If you've got the Pulp Alley Playtest Pack #1312, the Gang rules are really fun for zombies, with the Mob or Dangerous abilities.
It just depends on what kind of zombies you want to have. ;)
