Title: 1st Corps Roman at the scale or not ?
Post by: nervisfr on February 18, 2014, 08:00:49 AM
hey,

does any one have seen these references from 1st Corps (EIR range 28mm).
As 1st corps are smaller than the classical 28 mm manucfacturers i would like to know if they are at the right scale with Artizan,Crusader, Foundry, BTD, Vitrix and friends ....

Could be very useful for my "Song of shadow and Dust" project.....need more civilians to fill with my streets....

Unfortunately they are really small, here's a comparison with the Foundry Caesarian centurion.

I still would use them in groups, without mixing with others, because they're too lovely.

Hello all

Eric you can always sculp a little bigger base and mix them.
There are people who are confortable with that and the miniatures look taller than they actually are.

hey,
Thnak for your help.
I know this solution but i don't like it.
Especially if the basing include a coppelstone work to sculpt. that's make the basing too difficult if the figurine is too high on the base.   :'(
As 1st corps are too small for me (in 3D, not only in heigh) except to feature adolescent or young people (shaving is compulsory), i think i'll go back to conversion work on "standardised" 28mm.

Hello all

Well i have to agree with you on the base size.
The idea of you and the Professor is great. A band of teenagers.
Remenber that you can always use them as common work people, some young some adults.
I have some children from the BTD packs and Warlord celts to paint. They give a live in the scenarios.
About the rules i did bought the pdf but it will take a wille before i can try them.

Cheers
