Hi guys! I got another company finished for INHM. Loosely based around the Ottoman's in the 'Heroes, Villains and Fiends' supplement, but I tweaked them a bit to suit the Lead Adventure minis that I painted up. Just couldn't resist getting the minis after living in Turkey for three months last summer due to work. Maybe they'll act as some sort of a memory :)
The company PDF can be downloaded from here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwb_mx3No3ZzRWFBQXY0YTd4UjA/edit?usp=sharing). I've also included it as an image at the end of the post.
Few more images at my blog (http://engineered-gaming.blogspot.fi/2014/02/painting-challenge-entry-11-ottoman.html) for those of you who might be interested!

Outstanding. Perfect figures and nice stats.

:o
That is a gorgeous looking force.
:-* :-* :-*
I have had my eye on those fellas for a good while now, but just cannot see how I can fit them in to my plans.
Your figures provide a very unhelpful nudge... >:(
;)

Well done that chap! :D

What a lovely bunch, well done, Nysse!
I still have to paint up mine :(

Lovely colour scheme, fruity enough to be fantasy, sensible enough to be historical. :o

early XIXth century ottoman uniforms were ... the origin of the french "uniforme d'opérette" ... quite colourful ( http://www.ottoman-uniforms.com/the-1826-till-1839-ottoman-army/ ) .
nice colour scheme for late ottoman, well done .

Thank you guys!
Mason: There are never too many figures, eh? :)
joroas: I tried to stick to something which is actually pretty close to the actual uniforms used. The Ottoman army was one of the most colourful ones of the 19th Century, so you don't even have to take too many artistic freedoms to make them "pop".
lou passejaire: Nice link! Need to bookmark it if I ever end up painting more Ottomans. I had some pics from the Turkish military museum with some uniforms that I used as inspiration now.

Very nice! I did a similar company myself a while back, there's just something about those colourful ottomans we apperantly both feel :)

Nice brushwork ;D

Nice work :)

Thank you!

I have a friend who uses the Ottomans and those figures. I'll pass this along since the ideas look interesting. The painting is very good indeed.
