Title: Empress Navy SEALS.
Post by: Paul @ Empress Miniatures on February 19, 2014, 02:08:11 PM
A couple of packs from the recent Kickstarter.

Something a bit unusual.
Some US Navy SEAL frogmen.

Just right for all of those James Bond scenarios.

Those frogmen are just too cool, now all you need is a hollowed out volcano + hordes of armed goons!!

For Vietnam Seal Team 1: I think you can use the ebob Recon28-stuff (hopefully the release is near).

I really like the look of these. I've emailed Ebob several times about a release date but have yet to get a response. I'm holding off on buying Force of Arms stuff waiting on these!

No, not via Facebook, I'm not a fan and tend to avoid it like a poisoned punji stick!

Edit: got a response from Ebob saying hopefully late summer for the Recon 28 launch.

Does anybody have a scenario worked out to play Operation Neptune's Spear (i.e. Zero Dark Thirty)?

Oh yes the eternal saga of those Ebob miniatures. These are very nice and i remember sseing them when i re-surfaced in the hobby almost four years ago. After waiting for a year and still nothing was happening i bought a whole bunch of TAG. I have no regrets.

Come on, we make an ultimate to him. When he will not release untill 30.6.2014 we make a big facebook-party at his home :D And after that a big wargaming event.

I received my Empress Kickstarter a few days ago.

Here is a WIP shot of one squad of Empress DEVGRU

And here is a Seal and NZ SAS soldier Willie Apiata. (these have a bit too much white drybrushing which will be corrected)

There wil now be a two week pause as I have a business trip.
