Title: Rumble in the Ruins : Pulp Alley AAR
Post by: Alfrik on February 25, 2014, 04:25:13 PM
The Commission received numerous reports from citizens concerned over ground vibrations emanating in the direction of some old church ruins on in the woods along with further reports of heavy equipment heading that way in the late hours of the night. 2 Teams were dispatched to investigate.

Approaching from opposite directions in the early morning light several things were immediately apparent. A large crane, a HUGE displaced mound of earth and cultists everywhere scrambling as an Alert horn sounded!  Firing broke out in all directions as Cultists scattered to snatch up what ever weapons they could.

Team MS, entering from the closer edge in the next picture made a slow approach, dashing from cover to cover and maintaining a constant fire that drops the out lying perimeter guards, while Team MIS enters from the top of the picture field and rushed work tables for documents, heedless of fire.

The crane was crawling with Cultists, Sister Painful among them, her strident calls to defend the crane ringing out. With the cultist defense collapsing she orders the crane into motion..... resulting in its massive bucket sending ancient stone columns being shattered into a cloud of missile like debris! MIS agents and cultists are bowled over, dust reduces visibility! Chaos ensues!   Taking advantage of the low visibility Team MIS leader rushes and grabs the Project Blue Prints from the workbench!  .... something about Device MX2, some sort of Tunneling Subterranean Vehicle.....but its GONE! It must be operational!! Alarming news indeed!

For their after action reports, both teams have to compile their separate clue sheets and submit the Who What and Where to gain additional starting advantage for the Chapter conclusion encounter, points for correctly identifying each gains them points.
