I've seen plenty of painters post pics of their old paint jobs from back in the day but I thought I'd stripped all my models long ago. Turns out a few had missed the jam jar.

Not my first attempts but the earliest examples I've got left. Probably done when I was 15 or so.
A bit more waffling on my blog (http://stonecoldlead.blogspot.co.uk/).

Nice! I'm not sure I'd want to post my own old painted pics though :D

Not bad at all...I know quite a few Folk who have yet to reach that level of brushwork. The checked hose is OUTSTANDING. GREAT RETRO WORK!

You should have seen my very first paint jobs! Citadel cybermen slathered in silver enamel and lightly drybrushed black. Took me six months to realise I was supposed to drybrush the black with silver! lol
Oh, and my very first attempt at stripping paint involved filing the paint away! Almost knackered a snotling pumpwagon doing that (found all the bits a few years ago and with a little work I think it'll be alright).

Yeah, those are damn good. The skin on knight in particular is something I'd be perfectly happy with as a result. The armour also looks pretty decent.

They are about my current standard! Nice work.

Not bad at all. I haven't been able find my first stuff, mostly Grenadier and Ral Partha. I think I have a chaos dwarf from when I was 16 or so.
