Hi,
I've finally managed to finish my windmill. For a short tutorial and some pictures, visit

You did a very nice job, and the manuscript is extremely inspiring! do you have some links with other 1500-esque images?
However, i'd suggest you in the future to provide the link of the article instead of the link of your general blog, otherwise a future reader won't be able to find the specific article easily!
Cheers

Thanks for the kind words Jack! I found the illustration in a book from my university's library:
Mane, Perrine: La vie dans les campagnes au Moyen Age à travers les calendriers, Paris: Editions de La Martinière 2004
It's full of very inspiring images of medieval rural life - I have already built the sheep shelter you can see in the picture in my blog and I am working on bee hives.
Also, thanks for the hint about directly linking to the article - I never thought about that, I should perhaps to this with every link.
So, future reader, please follow this link: http://wargamingraft.wordpress.com/2014/03/08/building-a-windmill-in-15mm/ :)

hehe, glad to be helpful. besides, most users tend to follow the "no pics no click" rule, i usually add a picture or two together with the links.
note that those are NOT forum rules, but i think that as guidelines they work pretty well ;)
