Argh! Give me a *both* button!
-
Excellent match. For me, difficult choice. Love 'em both.
-
This one will probably go down to the end! :-* :-* Captain, I've been waiting to see these painted!
-
Very difficult choice!
-
Great matchup! :-* Love the Heroes and great to see that the Lannisters are well represented in this round 8) ;)
-
Amazing, UM you have painted figures I don't like and made me like them and Capt Blood has pulled those reds out lovely (is that Blood Red?)
-
'Evil Sunz Scarlet' - thanks to Dr Mathias for the recommendation :)
Nice work there Uncle Mike. I have no idea what they are, but they're unfeasibly cute.
-

Ha, and I've some up too in round 2 or 3..
-
Great work gents! :-* ......and a surprisingly good match up! Capt-fantastic scene! Uncle Mike-your painting style really suits those minis and the GW ruins are aptly cartoony to go with them.
-
Both dang nice, the Hero's have a paint job style that matches the "flavor" of the castings character perfectly :-*
-
'Evil Sunz Scarlet'
I thought you might like that color, GW got that one right :)
The heraldry is killer, stunningly crisp. If I didn't know your work I'd have guessed decals!
Great work on the Super Dungeon figures UncleM. I have those myself, not quite sure how I would approach them. Yours are up there with the best I've seen.
-
Fantastic work both of you. Love the heraldry on the Lannisters but the little guys are 'so cute'. Tough choice.
-
Thanks guys! Always an horrific experience to find you are matched against Captain Blood...that said, I'm doing better than I thought I would. Who knew I could be so cute? :D
Those figures look fantastic Mr. Blood! I am especially blown away by the detail on the bases, a master stroke!
-
Excellent composition on both of these pieces. It's a tough choice here!
Thanks
n.

Lovely. Your painting style lends itself beautifully to GoT, Richard. Armour is always described as colorful and bright.
UM, great PJ. Really. Never seen these before
-
I really like both contributions. 8)
A very good job on the conversions Richard! This reminds me to also work on my warband. :D

No, not decals. One of the shields (from some random fantasy knight sprue) has an embossed lion rampant, and I just copied that freehand onto all the rest.

Thank you Frank. But truthfully, they're nowhere near as good as your Lannisters. They really set the standard! :)
-

Noted and knicked ;)
That's some sharp paintwork there Uncle, top job 8)
-
Oh come on, play fair... Both cracking!
-

Didn't mean to suggest you used decals at all, I know you're a man of integrity :)
I thought that one looked embossed, but that's not a criticism at all, just the way it catches light.
-
Matt, I didn't take it as a criticism in the least :)
Just confirming that it was indeed a pain in the ass painting all those heraldic lions o_o
When I expand my Lannister forces, I'll need to make a stamp or something...
-
Well done guys - both entries are stunning
Shame there has to be a winner
