Beautiful execution Frank! I'll steal that idea for another LPL! 8)
-
Great mise-en-scene and painting Franck, the essence of dungeon crawl.
-
I am having problems voting for this one.
-
Sorry OK working now
-
Frank is back for the attack! Very clever, what a scene!
Crisp painting Curt, that chainmail in particular is knockout.
-
That tunnel pic is fantastic Frank!!
-
Welcome back Frank! Excellent framing on the tunnel. :-*
I'm always impressed with Curt's black backgrounds too, as they really compliment the excellent paintjobs 8)
-
Stunning, as you scroll down and see Frank you know you are going to see quality! But what a scene too!
-
Crisp painting Curt, that chainmail in particular is knockout.
Yes that looks real
-
I like that the two adjectives of the LPL have been paired together... :D
Fabulous work Frank! I'm getting schooled on this one! lol I love the dungeon dog, the torch-flame and all the equipment festooned on the adventurers. Well done.
-
Ok, the Otherworld minis are my favorites of the whole first round, just superb!
-
Both excellent - hard choice. Superb setting, Frank!
:-*
-
Curt - Really nice basing and great skin tone on the goblins. Who makes these figures?
Frank - I could stare at these minis all day long, absolutely beautiful. It's scenes like these that got me into minis.
-
@Operon: Thank you. The castings are from Thunderbolt Mountain Miniatures (Tom Meier's fine work)

I'm not a big fan of GW's cartoony 'Goblin Green' so I went with a darker, more olive/grey tone using German Fieldgrey as a base.
-
I too, like the darker skin tones. Looks more realistic, and menacing. >:D
-
Those TBM goblins have been on my want list for years!
Great job to both of you!
-
Wow...creative scene, Frank! I look forward to nine more masterpieces from you...

Hi Curt, these Goblins are really beautiful! I like the skin-color and the bases are fantastic. I am looking forward to see more of your work.
-
Excellent stuff guys, that is really clever though Frank
Glad to see you LPLing again

Both beautifully painted. I think the dog won me over tho.... lol
