I needed some easily transportable Victorian terrain for IHMN games, so I opted for a cemetery. I threw together what I had so far to see what else was needed:

I think I have enough graves now :)
Task list:
Complete the wall/fence
Add some appropriate statues
Add some trees
Create a pathway through the cemetery.

Plenty big enough Dave. :)

Does anyone know of a source of walls that are compatible with GW's Garden of Morr set (or does anyone going to Salute want to get rid some of these from the Garden of Morr set)?
I have some lengths of these old Snapdragon walls:

Does anyone have any of these sections that could do with a new home?

Nice set up Dave. There are quite a few Victorian cemeteries near me and a lot of them have a range of wall types around them. Admittedly some of these are later additions, but as a lot of the cemetery expansions took place within the Victorian period it wouldn't be unusual to see different wall types, especially in brick. I've used the high brick walls from Hovels for mine. It could be a nice contrast with the grey stone.

Last night I was thinking about this and may well use the same Hovels walls as the main boundary, with a high internal wall somewhere to restrict movement and line of sight.

Looks great, Dave!
:-* :-*
How about moving the walls inwards, so as to create a little area outside of the cemetery?
I think it would help create a more 'natural' look and reduce the amount of walls needed.
;)
I don't have any spare walls but do have some spare mausoleums from the Garden of Morr if that would help fill it in, mate.
Send me a PM if they would help.
:D

Walls may well move a bit, to allow me to add some buildings. Thanks for the offer of mausoleums, but I thing four will be enough for the moment.

That's a great looking graveyard!
Does anyone know of a source of walls that are compatible with GW's Garden of Morr set (or does anyone going to Salute want to get rid some of these from the Garden of Morr set)?
I know someone that is making some walls that may be entirely compatible with the Garden Morr walls, especially if you don't want skulls ;)

Update on the graveyard - the Garden of Morr fences and walls, plus my matching resin walls will be used for an 'old' section of the graveyard. The 'newer' section will be enclosed with brick walls from Hovels (I am in the middle of painting about 4' of brick wall sections).
Statuary will include weeping angels (from Crooked Dice).
I am also looking at adding a small church.

We need pictorial evidence! lol

Taking onboard some of the comments on this thread, I've rethought the walls for the graveyard. A quick run-through this evening shows I have enough walls, fences, large grave bases and mausoleums. With a few small grave bases and some statuary I should have all I need:

Next stage is to finish the wall sections and texture/paint the boards.

I finally completed the graveyard board today:

and the joy of it is that the whole game set-up, including miniatures, all packs down into three conveniently sized storage/transport boxes, so I can transport it to wherever I wan to play (starying next weekend at the Frome Steampunk Extravaganza weekender :)
-
I like it.

Very nice - enjoy the Frome Steampunk Extravaganza - don't forget the photos please :D

Thanks. Its not up to the standard of your stuff, but I wanted something that would be easy to transport and set up and easy to make (with little time available to work on it and the completion deadline being the end of this coming week). I chose a graveyard because it would be mostly low profile stuff that could easily pack away for transport.
-
Nicely done Dave. :)
-
So are your graves mounted on CDs or something else?
-
That's excellent Dave, I like it a lot.

Stuff and nonsense, mate.
I would be really happy playing a game on that set-up.
:-*
In fact, the more I look at it, the more I like it.

Yes, mostly on old CDs

Excellent execution of a grand idea!
Thanks for sharing.

Not sure about that; I rather fancied with first viewing. lol
Well done, indeed! AAR shortly? ;)
