Yesterday, James M, James W, Tom, Steve, John, Matt, Martin and myself put on our rather vertiginous Battle of Keren 1941 game at Salute.

A truly awesome game. Really remarkable scenery, very ingenious and visually incredibly dramatic. After lots of teaser photos it was fantastic to see the real thing unveiled.
Also really nice to meet you in the flesh after following your blog for so long.
Cheers

It was a great day, met some really interesting folk. I enjoyed being part of the group and am full of admiration at the planning that took place beforehand.
The "Hill" was outstanding and some of the photographs I've seen are truly evocative. Well done to all involved.

This was my favourite historical game of Salute 2014! Fantastic effort, well done! I loved the maquette of the terrain, a great visual aid for this series of battles I may try to make one of those myself!

It was a joy to behold, look forward to viewing it again at Partizan in the better light of Kelham, never thought I would ever say that about Kelham ;)

Thank you. I've just finished the 'Making of Keren' article and dropped it off to Wargames Illustrated, so hope to see it in print later this year.
