bit of a wandering project this one - had thought of doing something fancy with it, but it really is just for fun...
fudged the varnish on the base (as usual), so need to redo that, hence no static grass (god I hate varnishing) and I'm too impatient to wait.... still looks a little too like Bruce Willis in these photos, had hoped I'd avoided that, must be the angle....

lol Yes, that's a great figure and very close to the original comic illustration. I don't see him as Bruce at all, so don't worry on that score.
I've never heard of him before, so I must get hold of the comic :)

I used to love Abslom Daak. It was so un-Doctor Who-like, to have a bloke running around cutting Daleks to bits like a superhero. I love Doctor Who, but that was just such a cool change of pace, especially for a little kid (which is what I was). Violence is all little kids are interested in from their Sci-Fi!
Captain Jack (like most of the other characters involved) was so wasted in that recent sloppy mess of a season finale. They should have had him doing Abslom Daak-type stuff all over the shop.
Nice job.

There's an audio cd series by "Big Finish" where the main character is very similar. He's played by the chap who was Mickey in Dr Who and is a pretty good set of stories - great for painting to. Can't remember the titles off the top of my head :(
I was very impressed by Mickey's huge weapon in the last series lol

Must have... must have.... beautiful!!

Brilliant, you've really captured the look and feel of the character!
And he looks nothing like Brucey, to my eyes at least ;)

Wow, that takes me back :-*
I had some family friends that moved to London at the time of this particular comic series and they would ship me Doctor Who fan mags. Now that you have him on foot you have to do him zooming around on a Dalek grav sled!

Oh my lord, you're doing the Star Tigers... ;D
Can we expect a Meep?
