Title: playing fear and faith solo?
Post by: petercooman123 on April 28, 2014, 08:35:37 PM
Anyboy know if fear and faith rules can easily be adapted to a solo game?

Still in doubt if i should get that one or all things zombie. ATZ looks nice, but i want to be able to use all kinds of crazy monsters, wich fear and faith seems to provide!

Played both. F&F is nice but for solo I'd say go with ATZ, it's almost designed for it.
It's way crunchier, but comparing the outcomes of the solo games with those differ alot. With F&F you should be pretty impartial to the warbands to not screw either of  sides, while with ATZ you really can fight your enemy if you know what I mean.

Yeah i see what you mean, i have the old chain reaction 2,0 and you can really solo that one too. Fear and faith just looks like it can be played quicker than atz and the like.

I have seen a set of solo rules for SOBH but can't remember where. Might be worth asking on the fantasy board.

Have a look at http://dogui.wordpress.com/2010/10/21/solitaire-song-of-blades-and-heroes. The method of choosing how many actions each party takes is very neat.
