Whose truck is the model?

looks good.

I am looking at Italians in WW2 at present (well have been for a few years)

Just reading a book on the desert war and a captured German General, when asked about his Italian allies told his British questioner "well, its your turn to have them next time".

They are still my favorites.

nice painting

The truck is a Lledo Days Gone by Fordson 7V bought from ebay for approx £5.

Cheap, durable and with no build time always good as far as the wargamer in me is concerned. And if like me you find nothing more tiresome than building a wargame model kit that is provided in multi parts and without any instructions …who does that ? …then ideal

I picked up the idea from a demo game set in Libya at one of last years Patizan shows at Newark ...Thanks chaps

With a paint job it makes a fair, representation of an Italian light truck such as the SPA CL 39 Coloniale. Though the Autocarro is readily available in 20mm it is not so far in 28mm.

So far that is … ;)

The Italians would have used any captured British MT they could get their hands on anyway, so using the Fordson as itself is reasonable too.
