We are very pleased to release our latest code for our popular 15mm Frankish, Breton or Norman range, Unarmoured Cavalry.

Whilst the armoured horsemen in nasal-bar helmets who rode up Senlac Hill or thundered across continental or Levantine battlefields form our picture of the Frankish, Norman or Early Crusader warrior, in fact many if not most of the horsemen in these armies would look like these men, protected by a shield and usually wearing a helmet but without body armour. They could form rear ranks of knightly units or their own units of gentry, depending on your rules set. These models would also be suitable for many of the local skirmishing cavalry types on the fringes of Frankish lands, or even knights who have removed their armour to scout, a not-uncommon practice.

The models were sculpted by Mike Broadbent and painted by Heresy. Although sold in packs of six, they are also available in larger sets at a progressively greater discount.
