that's a marvellous color scheme on the elves!

Some excellent work here! Kudos guys.
The terrain layout and composition on the Nefarious Dr. Koo is inspiring, and that giant tree person is fantastic. I have one on my painting desk now and I will totally attempt to get the same determined, mournful look in the eyes that you have achieved!
Great stuff guys.
Thanks

awesome entries, and the pagoda behind the Koo ones is great!
Where are the shingles from? =)

Both lovely entries! I'd also like to know where the building behind Dr. Koo's party comes from, the roof is awesome.
The treeman dude is great. I've been eyeing that Reaper figure as a possible Blood Bowl treeman proxy and I think I'll have to follow through a bit later this year!

The Temple is from John Jenkins Designs.

Photoed end-on in the background. A different angle of it was used in the background of my Round 2 entry "Wu-Tong Clan."
A beautiful kit with a removable roof and great detail.
I've used this temple as a background piece 3 times now this season, once from each of 3 angles (front, back and side). I was originally drawn to it from its details, including the roof shingles ;)

Yaaaagh, so difficult to decide. *closes eyes and clicks on a button*

I really like the concept and colors for the Autumn Guard.

Wonderful painting on Dr. Koo and company! The whole scene is excellent!
I always find reds, yellows, and oranges difficult to paint, so naturally I decided to use all of them on this group... :?
I really love the Treeman figure, and he is available in Bones for about $7 (http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Bones/latest/77184) He is covered in detail, a lot of which I have no idea what it actually is. I see some termite mounds, mushrooms, rocks, vines, ferns, dirt patches (?) some spots that look like gravel (??), logs, and wood sections. I seriously considered flocking him and actually might go back and do that over some of the detail that I was unsure about.
That being said, he was actually a lot of fun to paint and the first plastic miniature that I really enjoyed painting this entire competition.

Really nice entries both.
Good color choices Bobbo, nice detail work and of course I like the little spotted mushrooms ;)
