Kurgan is just East of Cheliabinsk.

So the Kurgan Battalion is with Syrový in the Eastern part of the group, along with some trains and an assault company.

Thanks Mark
I wonder why it is named 'kurgan' as opposed to all the other units (bar the assault companies) who are given Regt nomenclature?
