Here my Hero Quest miniatures I painted in 2009 (the first miniatures I painted using citadel washes too):

I painted all the miniatures from the HQ base game, but here I include only pictures of one miniature for each type of monster.
In italy there is a good community of fans of HQ, here the website:

Wow, very nice!

They really are spectacular! I wish my painting on any of these minis was even a quarter as good!
-
Very nice! I painted the barbarian for a friend who played some years ago.
-
Great paintjobs, especially if you have painted the whole set.

Absolutely fantastic work. I really wish I had held onto my Hero Quest (tough to do with a family that moves all over the country, going to college etc...stuff disappears into mystery). Nice work. I hope the new version measures up!

The style you are using for those figures compliments them perfectly.

The Gargoyle's paintjob is my favourite.

Those are fantastic. Very dynamic colors that fit the look of the game. I'd love to see a picture of these minis on the game board, just to see the whole effect.

Beautiful work!

Awesome, I was thinking of cranking out HQ on the weekend to play with my son. More motivated now.

The skin on the barbarian and zombie are particularly well done.
