Finished the Mystery Machine - page 5
-
Velma was always sexier than Daphne. She had big norks and a short skirt.
Go man, go. I hope you get away with it and there aren't any meddling kids.

I too had a thing for Velma over Daphne! And I would have gotten away with it, too... ZOINKS!
Thanks man!

If you're looking for a Mystery machine van, try here:

That crooked dice van is fantastic in itself, though.

Huh. That would have been, um, perfect ...
HOWEVER! I now have the Transit Van, in er, transit, and will have to stick with the plan. Much nicer, the Transit Van. Yes. :D
Have a Scooby Snack anyway - thanks! ;)

Updated the blog with thoughts on villains - and possible minis

Will enjoy seeing this develop. Make sure to scope the parameters correctly ;)
-
Great idea. I've just taken advantage of Hasslefree's 20% off sale to pick up the gang. Pulp Alley would make for a great rules system.

That's a good thing about a Scooby Doo set up, you could pretty much use any terrain you have and even mix and match. A medieval castle becomes the refuge of a reclusive Uncle, a medieval village become aTransylvanian tourist site or has a few modern props dropped in (litter bins, lamp columns, kiosks, etc. and becomes Camelot Towers Theme Park! Any desert, jungle, snow, etc. terrain could be used. It's incredibly versatile.

I'd go for the CD offering, I have the Armorcast MM and while it's a very nice cast, it's not really 1/50, it's more like 1/64.
-
I have the gang (both versions) and the Armorcast vehicle still waiting for me to free them from the lead mountain. Looks like your Scooby project is in high gear. Good luck. :)
-
Are you including Scrappy?
kind of like "Kooky Teenage Monster Hunters", another Ganesha games system variant.
It has Scooby, Buffy, er "Missy", the whole genre.
-

Where's that 'report to moderator' button? lol
This sums it up nicely:

Let me at 'im!
No Scrappy lol
-
Scrappy Doo was Hanna Barbera's 'New Coke' decision.
He was like a dose of clap to the cartoon and it is right and proper that we never speak of it.
-
I ordered my 7TV book and Transit Van (* The Mystery Machine!) on 30 May - and received them TODAY, all the way to Canada. WOW! That's just outstanding.
Well done CD!
Oh, and the van and book are very excellent looking :D

Scrap scrappy, but find a good Vincent Van Ghoul.

Yep, the clear green ones are top of my list! ;D
-
One could argue using scrappy as a villain wasn't all bad. You instantly wanted to see him get it.
-

Yes. Vincent makes it in to Mystery Incorporated, pretty much as Vincent Price.
-
And Grant's decals are just about ready! I've order my own van as well so I can get some proper sizing on these.

Bizarre to see my kitchen hob on the internet :)
Looking good!

That has SO got to be made available!
-
Brent's decal work is awesome!!! Can't wait to get home from holidays and get the colours on the van.
Thanks Brent!
Nice hob, Karl :)

They'll probably appear here: http://035f399.netsolhost.com/companyB_anime.html
Company B and Brent's decals are excellent to work with.

A set to match this would be nice too:

armorcast clue contraption. ;)

Handy blog link. :)
-
They probably fit the armorcast van too, since i use the design from the cartoon as a base. Can someone send me a side shot and dimensions? Does anyone have a shot of the rear of the cartoon van and the front?
The more folks that want in on the initial sheet the better :D It's easier to make a few different sizes on the custom client sheet, as once I standardize these for more prints, they will be stuck at a generic size.

Reaper had a ghost figure called Borley
Crooked Dice has a zombie astronaut head

Email on the way.
-
And I was just looking at the Armorcast van in my pile of unpainted stuff, thinking about how to deal with the side logo. Yeah, if CompanyB is making decals for this, I am definitely in.

Send them an email - the more people the merrier!

ok, sets are pretty close to do. Added the decals for the front and rear.
I also have two sets, one for the crooked dice van and one for the armor cast one.
I'm going to print one sheet...so everyone who wants a set, pipe in with which one you want! I'll figure out pricing once everyone chimes in...

Me please!
-
I'd take a set for the armorcast van. ;D
-
One of each please!!!
-
Hmmm, now that Grant is doing this, I can also finish my scoobydoo project! All I need is the van, some ghosts and a mansion.
I do have quite a few items assembled though to do some wacky adventures across the globe!
The gang and guests
(http://035f399.netsolhost.com/scoob.JPG)
I have a 2'X2' board of a cemetery, and I was going to make two adjacent boards the same size to house a large mansion and a portion of town.
I just need to convert a shaggy mini into Tinker to drive Speed Buggy and a few miniatures to use as zany ghosts.
And in the back of my head I've convinced myself I'd either sculpt or commission 28mm Gilligan's Island miniatures so I can do this as well..I sketched this a few years back and it's dying to be done. I already have the japanese zombies!

Casey Kasem, long time voice of Shaggy, died today. I thought this was a good place to mention it.

Sad for sure, but that man made millions of people happy, so a life well spent in some ways at least.
I'd like a set for the Armorcast van please.
If I am not too late, I would very much like a set of decals for the Armorcast van if possible please.
-
Armorcast for me.
-
The Mystery Van Decals are in stock! Price is about $8 a set.

In the subject line, write down scooby doo decals, and if you want armorcast or Crooked Dice.
In the body of the e-mail please add your contact and shipping information (to calculate postage)
We will then send out paypal invoices to everyone interested. Get them now, before we add them to the webshop!
We will send out a paypal invoice straight away...
