Title: 32 Hours left on customized dice Kickstarter
Post by: WatchfuliStudio on June 01, 2014, 12:19:51 AM
Hello everyone. I have a lot of fun news to share with everyone but I will start with some introductions. My name Joe Krone and I live in the US (I know, I know but don't hold it against me). I worked in the gaming industry for several years and once I left I missed it and wanted to be involved in some way. Almost two years ago I embarked on writing a set of wargaming rules for Osprey Publishing that covered the major conflicts in North America from 1754-1815. As part of this project I designed some customized dice that we could use during playtesting and over time I realized that maybe some of the other gamers out there would like to get a hold of these dice too. So, I posted a Kickstarter for these dice and if you are interested please check it out.

Even though I am overseas I realize that the "Lead Belt" runs through England so I am always interested to see what everyone is up to. I especially enjoy checking out the pictures from Salute and hope to some day attend.

In the meantime if you are enjoy the French and Indian War, American Revolution, or the War of 1812 then I encourage you to check out my blog that I recently started to document my hobby adventures and gaming.

Thanks,

Joe Krone

Looking forward to the new rulebook - I've enjoyed reading all the Osprey rules so far.

Shame it wasn't earlier - our school club are playing War of 1812 this term.

Thanks for the replies gents. I hope you truly enjoy the rules and I would be happy to answer any questions you have.

Its all about timing and its a shame I missed the War of 1812 lesson. Maybe next year. :)
