Title: Perry Miniatures, Artizan, Empress Miniatures Comparison size?
Post by: Katsuhiko JiNNai on June 23, 2014, 10:56:11 AM
I'm considering to buy some Empress Miniatures Eritrean Askari, Perry Miniatures Italians with steel helmet and include them with my Artizan italians with tropical hat. There is a comparison size? Thanks.

Thanks, so the perry miniatures are smaller than Artizan and Empress Miniatures? However I see only plastic perry miniatures, the metal one are usually bigger?

Perry are smaller than Aritzan and Empress.

The Perry metals are the exact size of the plastics for the WW2 stuff.

I posted a detailed comparison shot of all of these a few months back:

Artizan are the largest, followed by Empress then Perry then Warlord.  I've got some Artizan mixed into my units with Empress but I think they're a bit hefty next to Perry and Warlord.

I've yet ordered some askari from Empress Miniatures, they should be fine with my artizan italians with tropical hat.
For italians with steel helmet, what I should consider?

I'd go with Perry as they are slightly larger than Warlord, but probably best not to mix them in units with Artizan.

Artizan will be much larger and chunkier in proportion that's for sure.

Darrell.

I'd forgotten about these.  They will be a good match for Artizan, I think, being chunky 28mm.  There are only 6 models in the range though.

Fine. I just need them for my Pulp Alley league, so it's not a problem if there are just few models... sure if I needed a IIWW army I would choise perry or warlord...
