My first post! I recently painted the Commission Figurines (http://www.commission-figurines.co.uk/index.html)' Potzdammer Platz MDF kit as a Stalingrad building for games of Rapid Fire!. I've posted a rather long walkthrough of the process on my blog: http://nerdlard.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/15mm-stalingrad-building.html (http://nerdlard.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/15mm-stalingrad-building.html).
I wasn't sure which board to put this on but, since the painting methods could be applied to buildings of any period, I decided to post here rather than on the Second World War board. Here are the teasers...

Cracking job !
both external (splendid mural) as internal. I just love how you decorated each room.
:-* :-* :-*

Very nice transformation. And yes, the mural will be add something extra to your games.
-
Ooooh neat. The mural's a great idea.
-
Great work.
Are you creating a whole built up board?
-
Just read the blog post too. Great work with the wall papers, I've thought about doing something similar but never got round to it. Seeing how good it looks I might have to resurrect that project.

Thanks for the kind comments, folks!
Fred, you should definitely restart your wallpaper project - I'd really like to see somebody else's take on the wallpaper idea. I am creating a whole table, but for modern games based on the two Chechen Wars rather than Stalingrad. My chum Abwehrschlact is working on a Stalingrad table and this building was my donation to his project. We both bought some Commission Figurines buildings at Vapnartak this year and, if you want to see more wallpapering, you can see one his buildings in progress on his blog: http://stormofsteelwargaming.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/berlin-strasse-wip-pt-2.html (http://stormofsteelwargaming.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/berlin-strasse-wip-pt-2.html)
