Just like the title says.
The parts are getting an acetone bath as we speak, so we'll see if that does the trick, but is there anything more effective?

i have stripped a lot of old metal minis using industrial brush wash and those stuck with epoxy just fall apart after afew days. My stock came from the aerospace industry but you could try at your local car paint shop.

When removing paint from old figures or painting disasters I use general purpose household cleaning fluids such as Mr Muscle to soak the figure in. This will remove ployurethane varnish, acrylic paint and 2 part epoxy resin glue such as Araldite quite easily and no major smell.

I don't know if the acetone was what did it or not, but I did eventually get the bugger off.
