Title: Zombie Fever
Post by: AKULA on August 07, 2008, 07:14:43 PM
Am still some way behind PM, but went through the hundred barrier today (actually 104, including 6 doggies).

All modern - a mix of Hasslefree, Zombiesmith, Griffin, Cold War, Spyglass, WestWind, Black Orc, Musket, Eureka, Crocodile, Copplestone and Golgo.....

Latest one, from Spyglass (rubble from Fenris Games).

They look BLOODY BRILLIANT ( excuse the pun..)  8)

That's an aweful lot of walking dead you've got there and they look superb all horded together like that.

I especially like the guy with the traffic cone on his head (....haven't been playing a certain X-box game perhaps??)

Thanks PM - coming from you, i really appreciate that!

Actually the traffic one guy was the result of an offhand comment to Bungle on frothers, about a bunch of students having a go at a zombie, and that was the result (converted Cold War, with a Foundry cone on his head):

You have a very sick and twisted mind......I congratulate you Sir!  :D

That Zed is totally wacked. I really like the "Bite Me" sign and the paintball splatters.

You have a really good eye for detail and it's nice to see a tongue in cheek slant on horror.

Paintballers V's Zeds......... Hmmmmm

I dunno, follow me over here from frother's with your shambling dead!

;)

Nice group shot matey, only thing I'd say about all your zeds it they could do with a little inking and washing, your your most recent one from Spyglass I mean, would improve em no end.

Now if you will excuse me, I've got to man the perimetre as they've been increasing in number all day and I don't think the fence will hold unless we do somethign drastic.

Paintballers V's Zeds......... Hmmmmm

I've already mentioned the idea of having a couple of pals play a game of Ebob paintball - the PB-field is situated on an old cemetery, with som headstones here and there, and maybe a base built on top of a mausoleum... you get the picture...

Watch the expressions on the players' faces, as you start piling on Zs - and they realize that a paitall gun is not likely to much else than splatter the corpses...   >:D

Just thought i'd lower the tone a bit.  lol

Am thinking of washing some of my existing zeds to grubby them up, but equally it depends upon how long ago they died - maybe i'll wash some of the more dishevelled ones (those in rags) - of course i could just paint some more.... ;D

I just meant normal washes for shading matey, you've seen my lot, just a thought bud.

Cheers.
