Title: The Best Sources/Manufacturers of Sudanese Ansar Flags?
Post by: Atheling on August 06, 2014, 05:05:44 PM
OK Folks,

The title really says it all, I'm looking for the best sources and/or manufacturers of Sudanese Ansar Flags as used in the Sudan in the 1880's.

Any help will be greatly appreciated  :)

Thanks,
Darrell.

Thanks guys  8).

I was looking at the Virtualarmchairgeneral one's last night but was hoping not to have to order from the states as it may take some time to receive them. It is something I will consider though.

Does anyone else have any input?

Darrell.

I ordered some Sikh wars flags from TVAG a few years ago and was frankly underwhelmed by the quality of the printing : I could probably do as well at home with my own scanner/printer. GMB standard these ain't...

Perrys have a set of flags in the plastic set, email them to see if they will send you a set.

Cheers Guys,

I was just about to recommend the Grimsby club flag sheets!

Dave, are the rules now available to order and are the flags only available in 28mm scale?

...and there's a typo to fix on the site - "customers". ;-)

We have been promised the rules on Thursday this week All the flag sheets are in stock but you get 01 and 02 free with the rules
The flags are only 28mm but Malc can let you know how to reduce to 15mm  I think its go to a copy shop or your print program and reduce to about 60% depending on whether they are big 15mm figures if that makes any sense.
All the free downloadable flags will be migrating to the Victorian Steel site as Malc and I don't do that site any more and we wanted to keep up the donations to combat stress . The quality of the pre printed ones is a lot higher however A donation from every rule set sold will also be winging its way there!
if you cant find any of the flags pm Nevermore as he has them all stored
