Hi Folks
Please see below a few pics of the Warlord Games/Conquest minis Last of the Mohicans trio.
They were painted using my 'dip and highlight' technique. The only difference being that the two Native Americans needed an extra highlight on their shirts as the base colour was a tad dark.
I'm really pleased with them.

I probably need to resize my pictures a bit...sorry...next time!!!
Anyway I also have some Perry AWI American Riflemen undercoated ready to go, but they are in a bit of a painting queue so goodness knows when they'll be done...

I have those figures in my collection.
Fine painting. Like them a lot.
What rules do you plan to use?

Nice work on the detailing.

Thank you very much :)
I have Muskets and Tomahawks, but the more I read it, the less convinced I am that I am going to like it...
I think I shall start with Legends of the Old West. The profiles for the Apaches or possibly Blackfoot will do for the Native Americans and Rangers/AWI Riflemen are easy enough - Texas Ranger profiles with options for musket, rifle, tomahawk, dagger, etc... I have some AWI US Regulars, so could use the US cavalry profiles with musket & bayonet armament.
I basically hope to be able to get enough models painted to do a few multi-player games at the club, so I don't need a great many for that. Perhaps about 8-10 per player which is pretty much what the LoTOW posse size was if memory serves (I haven't played in about 5 years!) and the games would typically involve 3 or 4 players...

Cooper would be proud lol

I wouldn't give up on M&T without playing them, I wasn't so sure on reading them, but went to play some games with a group of wargamers using them, and found them to work very well for small unit engagements. Have since played them again.

Great looking Conquest minis. Did you get the sisters too? If your up in the air for rules, you have to take a look at "This Very Ground" from Iron Ivan. These are "thee" rule set for this period.
