Title: LOTOW Adaptation for VBCW?
Post by: Kommando_J on August 20, 2014, 03:00:31 AM
I've read one gaming group adapted the legends of the old west system for VBCW and was wondering does anyone have a copy/list of the changes made? or anything similar something with lots of equipment customization and a skirmish style, tried IHMN didn't like it at all.

I have some BCW amends for LotOW which I know work because I've used them for several games. I got them when I actively played the period and contributed to some of the source books. They're not my amendments - I picked them up from the old VBCW website which I think is no longer active.

PM me and I will pass them on.

Wargames Soldiers and Strategy Magazine had two articles running in Issues 52 and 53 with stats for LOTOW including weapons and vehicles. You can download the magazines online.
Hope that's of some help.

The ones I have on "file" were by a certain Ook and PDE and were picked up when I was on the old GWP.

Anyway have a bash with them and enjoy.

I know Mort was using a set back in the early days of VBCW, because that's what we gamed with then.
