wow, great looking game, we are looking at using this ruleset for club games too, your terrain is first class, very realistic, is it terrain boards or one big terrain matt and is it teddy bear/ faux fur? as it has a really american wilderness feel to it

thanks

Thank you kindly and it's actually cloth that is layered with spray paint in various hues of green, yellow/green and light browns. The hedges are door mats cut into strips and spray painted like the cloth plus lichen glued here and there on it and loosely sprinkled on the cloth. Different shape Styrofoam hills are placed underneath the cloth for elevations. I try and use natural materials when I can.

thanks christopher, we usually use matowar at the club which is a thin mat with a green fibre like static grass attatched to it but maybe it could be sprayed to give a better effect

thanks

That cloth is really effective - cheap, simple, looks great! The whole thing is splendid.

@LawnRanger

British Grenadier is a elegant rule set that does an excellent job at simulating the AWI period and I would recommend it for those looking for a game that challenges you in understanding what it's like to command and fight troops in this period. However, these days I prefer the flow of Black Powder and it's more casual approach and ease of adopting house rules, scenario's and collections to suit what your needs or your groups needs are.

@Warburton
Thank you very much!
