Title: Gary Chalk's elusive building plans
Post by: Furt on August 16, 2008, 11:16:15 AM
Hi,

Can anyone please help me locate a copy of Gary Chalk's building plans from Wargames Illustrated Issue #146?

I know they used to be on the Foundry website - but have since been removed.  :'(

Thanks in advance.

I made some pdf's of the Western (Spanish) and Pirate models, plus the Jungle Pyramid, when Christin was asking about them on the Old West forum.  PM me your email address and I'll send them out to you by email.  I've just got to remember which folder I stashed them in!  ::)  Found 'em!

I would gladly take a set of those myself, if you are up to handing them out!

No problem.  Just PM me your email address.  Already had a couple of other requests.  :D  Let me know if you want the pyramid article as well.  It doesn't have any plans but gives some good instructions for the structure as well as general jungle scenery.

Just finished PDF's of a couple more Gary Chalk articles.  I've now also got his 2 shipbuilding articles (with some of Kevin Dallimore's Pirate flags included with the Pirate ship PDF) and his article on converting figures to populate his Spanish town.

I'm wondering if someone could email me a copy of the Western (Spanish) buildings and church?  Thanks in advance if it's possible.

Hi Mike

Sorry, thought your name was Gary, I think there is a link to my email on the lefthand side (envelope), but I am not sure if that should be there, new to all this you see.
Can you use that link?

Hi, Gary

I answer to just about anything!  ;)  (I've been called George all my life but, to the best of my knowledge, there isn't a single George in the family tree!  In fact, I'm George I and my brother is George II!)  From my point of view, there isn't any envelope or link beside your name.  Your profile says it's hidden.

Cheers,

Mike

Thanks to Mindenbush for the links to the plans. They look great. I've just started a pirate-themed Pathfinder campaign, and for the first sessions used flat printed deck plans. But this looks perfect. With a little tinkering, I can make several different sizes of ships. I'm away from home until mid-December, but once I get back, I'll be building a few of these for sure. Please post build logs of any ships you build, and I'll do the same.

Now I'm really impatient to get home from the South Pacific. <g>
