Title: Looking for thread: German expressionist cinema-style terrain table
Post by: Cherno on September 05, 2014, 03:25:45 PM
I'm desperately searching for a terrain table I saw here about a year ago, it had a very stylized...style reminiscient of German expressionist cinema, with twisted building on a big city terrain board. I think it also had some kind of huge (relatively) contraption that showed the moon and sun on a dial constructed over several buildings. Anyone remember this? It was quite unique but I can't find it!  :'(

Did Germany legalise LSD this week?  ;)

I did think you might have meant the Frothers zombie game from a couple of years back, but only the city would have vaguely fitted that...

Did you just see this table on a forum, or was it at a show?

That would, most likely, be Vikotnik's Nosferatu thread...

Yes, it was the nosferatur thread... Funnily enough, I looked at it multiple times while searching but somehow it wasn't how I remembered it, and I didn't see the sun and moon dial, and some of the pictures are no longer available sadly. Oh well, my mind was playing tricks on me (how fitting), thanks for the help, gentlemen ;)

That Nosferatu game wasn't the same Karsten I met at BLAM was it? Bloody hell,  I had no idea the creator of one of my most favourite boards ever was there! (along with so many other LAF luminaries,  obviously  :D).

It's bad enough bringing along my shoddy figures to show you lot (especially certain LPL champions and painters of figures for magazine front covers!  You know who you are.  lol)
