Perhaps the title should read "The Battle of the Five Armies" as this would be more suitable for a Dwarf army but for continuity with Jimbibbly's and Dr Deaths threads as this is joint project the title will remain.
Here is the first regiment of my 10mm Copplestone Dwarves. Tiny little buggers these, I could hardly see them let alone paint them. lol

I have never painted anything this small and was certainly cautious of what technique to use. I am pleased to say they were easier than I first thought and were a joy to paint. My second regiment is underway already. :D
Only another eight regiments to go for a 1000 Warmaster army.... :o

When i first started with 15mm i had the same feeling: Smaller isn't a synonymous of harder to paint! ^^
You did a great job with those!! I might suggest to "uniform" the edge colour, either light beige or brown, or even black, if it doesn't disturb the continuity with jim's ones!

Cute little buggers.

'Bout bloody time ;D
They look great close though :D
cheers

Nice job
When I looked at those guys on the site I thought the axes looked MASSIVE! They don't look so bog there!
Picking up on what you said about painting them, I Wonder is it really "easier" to get"better" result with smaller models?
Thanks

They are certainly quicker to paint than 28s. I could not have panted a twenty four figure unit of 28s that quickly and be as satisfied with the results. I did struggle to pick out all the detail as I found them really difficult to focus on(I think indeed new glasses for these). But overall en masse I like the results.

Tidy. :D
Another 8 regiments? They'll look great en masse.

Very nicely done. I've not seen these new figures painted up - they look very good.
I've been vaguely contemplating a battle of five armies battle - a few of these chaps would round out my Dwarves nicely.

Thanks
Are you going to do some six mil next?

No! I'm going back to Texas or Mars in 28mm when this project is finished.lol
10mm was bad enough to accept, let alone another even small scale. lol
-
oooh, small and cute, just like the chap that painted them lol
Grand job on those Mr Nick and pleased to see you finally got the third thread underway!
-
Dwarves in 10mm, so..you're playing 6mm? :D
-
Good grief Nicholas - that's more figures than you've painted in the past 5 years put together. 10mm clearly suits you ;)
And rather nifty they look too :)
(But no, I'm still not getting any of them!)

Great job Nick.

Very nicely done Nick 8)

Great job on the little dudes :-*
