Update Sept 24. The KS now includes 5 multipart droids and the ability to order additional droids.
Mega Minis is doing a kickstarter to put some of the old figs in production and the cost is about half what they cost before. Even with the up-charge for international (It's based in the USA) shipping, it's still only $2 a fig.

Looks like a mix of Alpha Forge Star Mogul "Salvage crew" and some Demonblade games figs. All ideal for post apoc settings. A number of figs in there that might see use as scum, bounty hunters and gangers. I did a review of some of these a while back and found them to be quite good, though the separate head figures are now single piece casts.

I already have about half of these guys, but I'm be buying into this one for the ones I don't. He also mentions that some of his other sc-fi lines may come back via kickstarter. Very excited about that.

Don't forget the free Security Drone Stretch Goals to bring that price per figure down even more. One of the pledge levels offers the full set of Road Kill Corpses Limited Edition for those who were thinking about it but can now conveniently add it. What I want to do in the near future is make new molds for the Cyber Miners, but not until I have released the Play-by-Play Salvage Crew download. I kept only around 50 molds, masters from the old Mega Miniatures ranges.

To bad I already have multiples of those figures already.
-
I'm very fond of all those figures, but I too have multiples of almost all of them.
But...maybe I could use more...hmmm ;D
-
Very nice. Put that on my reminders list. Don't usually do sci fi but I have a small skirmish force that could be added to.
-
I like these, they are broadly useful in many settings. Perfect for Judge Dredd.
-
Already passed the $1000 funded mark and over $1300 on the first day. I think we might get some of those drones!
-
passed 2000 last night. The first drone is in!
-
Yeah, I backed this one too. Good to see them back.
-
Passed $3k yesterday evening. Two security drones in the mix now!
-
I'm tempted. I have a few of those already, but they are very useful general purpose sci-fi figures, not tied into any specific universe.
-
Cool he's kinda back in business. Unfortunately I already got all the figures I want from that range.
-
Passed $5k today. That's 4 free droids! He has also said in the "updates" he will be adding in ways to order additional droids, though no details yet.
-
Nice to see you back in action, Johnny! You and your ecclectic ranges of miniatures have been sorely missed.
-
Properly backed now.
-
$6k passed, 5th free droid added.

Salvage Crew Workbench updates
With less than 30 days remaining, The Salvage Crew Kickstarter and Road Kill Corpses limited edition set will be ending on the last day of this month. As of this posting, the project has over 160 supporters. Check out the “UPDATE” section where I will be posting workbench images of molds and casting production of the more than 27 science fiction 28mm metal figures you can receive when you pledge $30.

8K reached! 7 drones and 20 Salvage Crew miniatures for only $30!
-
Okay, I've caved. Was planning on backing it close to the end if I had the cash but have decided to put my money in now.
-
Only $72 to the next Stretch Goal! Another droid to be added!

Excellent!
I'm just sent a blog post off to our club's blog overseer. It includes painted versions of 6 of the figs from the KS. It should co-incide with the last week of the KS and maybe generate a bit of interest.
-
Oh, still very undecided :/
-
I figure they fit great as necromunda figs, post apoc and near future, looking forward to getting them too.
-
That's pretty much my uses as well. There's a couple folks in there that are armed almost perfectly as necromunda scum or bounty hunters. I also see many of them as very useful for gritty Fire-fly'ish sci-fi frontier settings. Not surprising since 15 of the figs in the main KS and 5 of the droid add-ons are from the "Star Mogul" game which focused on groups of salvagers in a far-future setting.
-
A buddy of mine just painted up 6 of the figs that are in this kickstarter. I put up a blog post about them and 3 other salvage crew type figs that he painted up for me.

I ordered a set of your road kill like last week. No rush on my side, but do you guys notify when you ship?
Cheers!
-
I'm just a fan, but if you ask on the comments section of the KS, I bet Johnny will let you know.
