Just got some metal legion and was wondering, as I do not play 40K anymore (occasional rogue trader), does anyone use these for other sci-fi settings?

Nice. These are the only space marines that ever inspired me.
-
Awesome! They are pretty specific to 40k though!

The grim darkest of the grim dark. Never did it for me, really. Far too over the top in an already over the top story. I don't see why you couldn't use them in another setting, though with the current paint it'd be pretty tough to ignore.

I find that space marines, (growing up knowing about them) really only fit into 40k for me as looking at them I find it really hard to see them in any other way.

I dont see them like beefcake does, they could be some sort of death cult merc group to me.
.............I like that!

It's really just shoulder pads and helmets to me. lol

Or graves registration detail.... lol
In the grim darkness of the far future there are only funeral directors.
