Title: The American Revolution large battle

The American Revolution large battle

The thirteen colonies that became the USA were originally colonies of Great Britain. By the time the American Revolution took place, the citizens of these colonies were beginning to get tired of the British rule. Rebellion and discontent were rampant. For those people who see the change in the American government and society a real Revolution, the Revolution is essentially an economic one. The main reason the colonies started rebelling against 'mother England' was the taxation issue. The colonies debated England's legal power to tax them and, furthermore, did not wish to be taxed without representation. This was one of the main causes of the Revolutionary War.

Lots of photos of this tabletop battle on the main website in the gallery, 55 in total at http://www.victorian-steel.com/

We did adapt the rules and it worked well, we are going now for a skirmish game with Mohawks ect.. to see how that works, not just saying it but Old Glory miniatures did a review of the rules and we had a good feedback these can adapt to alot of periods, i did the Russo Japanese war on Monday they worked well.

It was reviewed on Andy Copestakes blog not Old Glory site Andy of course runs Old Glory UK hence the confusion
I didn't want to claim an endorsement from the company by default. We do use their figures for the Boxer Rebellion, some Indian Mutiny, Boer War and French Indian wars though so I will happily endorse them!
