I know that feeling... lots of orders I'm meaning to do... ;D
Very nice painting there, btw. :)

Nicely done. He does bear a resemblance to James Mason too. I also like the detail on the base as well. :)

Great looking mini, OT :)
Love that quilted jacket and his expression!
-
It is a superb mini and paintjob here!
-
Nice paintjob :)

Thanks :)
This is my first painted "Parroom" figure. Slightly shorter than other 28mm. I love the book, and like the James Mason movie. It is a very well sculpted face.

Wow that is nice I never think that a Parroom Station figure can look so good !!

Actually, I've found the Parroom personalities have a good deal of character and paint up quite well.

I keep meaning to get their fat old "Colonel Blimp" British Officer.

He would be ideal for my personal figure lol

Excellent paint job but Im surprised you didnt paint the metal on the base bronze!
-
Speaking of the metal - did you use some kind of plasticard with the muster stamped/cast on it (I know such a thing exists), or are the little ridges just painted on?
-
very nice

Yes. A Railway modelling section in my local Toy Shop stocks A4 sheets of various designs. I use them a lot.

I love both the figure and the paintjob!
