The KS is officially closed, but I've just finished correspondence with the KS owner, Stewart Wieck, who is allowing folks to sign up for pre-orders for the next day or so before he has to shut it down.
The KS site has an example of the mechanism which seems to be very streamlined and as such, very good for a pick up game with folks who have never previously played. Haven't played it yet as I don't yet have my copy, but it also looks like there is enough substance to make it a worthwhile addition to the library of old west gunfight games. The easy mechanics would also make it a great fit for conventions.

Ah, yeah I had forgotten about this. Did they ever post non-Microsoft Excel gaming cards? I liked the idea pretty well. Was hoping to see more of a final product.

Don't know but I've recently exchanged emails with Stewart, so you could probably fire off an email to him from the KS "Contact Me" link.
