The latest green from Steve Bsrber for The Greek War of Independence, this time representing a sharpshooter from the Ionian Islands

very nice!

suitable also for the islanders from the Aegean Sea. He can also be a member of some vessel crew.
Interesting idea: make some suitable for ship's crew, naval actions was very common during GWI.
Ah make also one carrying pistol, like the illustration!

As for the Ionian, I would prefer him wearing a straw hat!

Nice miniature from Steve once again. I'm interested Geoff in the book that you have your illustration from.

Hopefully picking up some of the miniatures from the post office today.

I am not sure of the title, they appear to be an Osprey like series from Greece, my compatriot in crime in Athens helps out with the illustrations when I have trouble finding suitable ref material!
