Those zombies are absolutely hilarious. I love those "hiding in barrels" thing, reminds me of the old days of FPS games when the enemy would pop out from wherever you DIDN´T expect him to come (Ocean´s "Jurassic Park" underground levels, for example...).

I was just about to use the term hilarious, too. And isn't there an old '.... of the Dead' movie where it is those toxins that trigger the zombiefication of a graveyards inhabitans - I think I have a picture in my mind of a very decomposed Z coming out of a barrel...?

In game terms, these are not the most versatile I've seen - but they are fun!

That old movie is Return of the Living Dead.

The first thing I thought was bugger  :-[ I've just bought some Zombies from them . Then I had a brain wave as I have lots of Tamiya Oil drums and leftover GW skeleton/zombie bits so I can make my own versions. :)

I love the Soviets and own the first batch that came out 2 years ago, but note: they are true 25mm.  A little on the small side, though beautiful sculpts!

Really? Now I don’t know what to think because I asked about the size of those figures on TMP and those are the answers that I received;

Calimero: I have them and they are on par with 28mm minis such as Artizan and Bolt Action. So are the Bundeswehr models.

The only ones I know of that are on the "small" side are the "Kreigspeil" Modern Americans.

So I think the whole idea that these Eureka moderns are small is a misconception from this line of modern Americans.

I could be wrong about that, but I know the NBC Sovs are a nice hefty 28mm.

and...

Calimero

These are 28mm.

The ‘smaller' figures you are thinking of are probably the current/modern period figures in the 'Kriegspiel Miniatures' range, which we produce under licence. Not being (strictly speaking) a Eureka Miniatures line, the Kriegspiel figures were developed outside of the normal Eureka design parameters, and as such are closer to what might be called a "truer" 25mm.
However, all the figures in Kosta's Eureka Moderns range (NATO Special Forces Frogmen, Soviets in NBC suits, German Bundeswehr, and Australian Special Forces Motorbikes) are 28mm.

I've got the soviets and they are definitely 28mm, not 25mm - have just measured one of the old ones again (the NCO pointing) and he is 28mm to his eyemask.  They fit in nicely with the bundeswehr, perhaps very slightly smaller than the TAG in NBC gear (whcih are a bit chunky anyway IMHO), but you could use them all on the smae table, as Artizan, Copplestone, even the Mongrel minis.

In short, buy 'em, paint 'em, enjoy 'em.  :)

Hmmm...

I'll have to recheck, my apologies.  Seem awful short to me.

If that's an order, I might do it...  lol

Seem awful short to me.

They aren't as chunky as some manufacturers, and the ones without helmets appear even more so, but they do fit in well with other ranges.  ;)
