Some finished pics of my own 28mm Australian Platoon. I have not themed it on any one battle, but rather the time frame from Kokoda through to Buna-Gona. This includes Milne Bay. So Lewis LMG as used by the Militia, Bren, Sticky Bombs and even Boyes ATR which were all used.
The figures were commission painted, but the bases were done by me. My first go at Jungle bases.
I am looking to have a 1st Lt and 2nd Lt with 4 x 9 man sections. One section veterans with SMG and Sticky Bombs. I also want to add a Stuart, 25Pdr, MMG and Medium Mortar.
All these are available from WarTime Miniatures: http://www.wartimeminiatures.com.au

-
very very nice, how do these look next to Perry's plastics?
-
I'd like to know how they scale as well.
Beautiful figures, I'd like to use them in East Africa
-
Hello
The figures are more in scale with Warlord and Artizan etc than Perry, which are quite small. :)

Great stuff - as an Australian myself it is nice to see these.
-
They look very nice. Will you be bringing them to Cancon? I'd love to see them in the flesh.
-
Yes mate I will be bringing the range. I may bring some of these guys for display.
I have the masters for the next sets, which while they will not be in metal for Cancon will be not far after.
There is a Facebook page with updated details.
