I work to a new Skirmish Samurai Rules Project, this is one of the first work that i've made, more other coming soon ...

At the moment my favorite ruleset is RONIN but i work at one update for a new ruleset ... stay in touch !!!

Very nice indeed.

What was your source for the bamboo? Also, will you do a build up of your trees as the colours are fantastic!

The Bamboo come from a chinese shop near home, are part of acquarium plants sold in bags.
For the tree i've used a pink and a white sponge .

That's quite effective! They look a bit like chopped-in-half bamboos, but that's not a big deal, and the overall effect is rather nice!

How's about the shiny surface on those?

I have cut some bamboo for make a different effect , i want to make a dense and disordered forest.
I think there is a necessity to apply a paint surface for reduce the shiny effect.
