I have gotten back on the mini horse after a year's absence. I had some Amazon bucks burning a whole in my virtual pocket so I ordered the rule book and some just gorgeous Xyston Greeks for a grand total of about $3 in real money. Superb. Here's a pic of the whole warband:

More pics on my blog (http://15mmplease.blogspot.com/2015/01/of-gods-and-mortals-greeks.html?m=1).
Now I'm waiting on some minis for my forthcoming Cthulhu warband. And maybe some samurai after that.

Very nice :)
I am also working on a couple of OGAM 15mm warbands (Viking and Celt), though they look nowhere good as yours.
Cheers,
Barry

Neat set and love the big guy!
How did you do the shield emblems?
-
Thanks guys! I'm itching to play a game with them, just waiting for my buddy to finish his Khurasan Vikings (which took an age getting to him).
The shield transfers are from Little Big Man Studios (http://www.littlebigmenstudios.co.uk/catalog/). They were very easy to apply but in my haste to see them on I left some wrinkles that annoy me, just not enough to redo them.

Thanks for the info - Andrew

:o Those look amazing, are you using a CD sized tray for the OO?

Thanks, Roddy!
I thought a cd would be too big for a tray at 15mm so I found some wooden ovals at a craft store. They are about the same size as a cd at their widest point.

I decided to make a bit of terrain for my Greeks while I waitfor my next batch of minis to arrive. Here's my (not entirely historically accurate) house for my Greeks to defend.

Work in progress pics on the blog (http://15mmplease.blogspot.com/2015/01/greek-villa.html?m=1). Thanks for looking.

I think those are the same ovals I use to base my 28mm chariots on:

Really changes the whole dynamic of going to the craft store w/ the wife when I can find goodies of my own!
Lovely project! The villa is quite nice, historical or not!

The building looks great :)
