Title: Manufacturer of Livingstone's house in 28mm?
Post by: Dr Mathias on February 25, 2015, 09:15:06 PM
Hello,
I was quite sure that there was a manufacturer out there that produced a 28mm scale house based off one of David Livingstone's- in either Ujiji or Tabora. I assume it was resin. I think there were two or three other mud brick or wattle and daub huts/houses as well.

I can't for the life of me find it though. Anyone have a lead?

Not sure if you are thinking of Grandmanner (http://www.grandmanner.co.uk/shop.php?p=category_products&category=14&page=2)?

They also do a variety of huts.

Thanks for the suggestion, I took a look through their catalogue again and didn't see what I'm looking for.

The house I'm thinking of was mud brick or wattle, and it had a sort of 'patio' attached.

After an inquiry I've discovered that the model I'm after was produced by Steve Barber Models, but they no longer make it. They suggested they might be able to find the molds.

I'm hoping someone has a picture of one, I'd like to make a foamcore version if they can't cast me one.
