They all go someday, but this is a heavy one. :'( :'( :'(
-
:( Yep. Despite his age it still seems a shock.
-
At least he did live reasonably long, and seems to have prospered.
Sad news :'(
-
Very sad news indeed.
-
I too was sad to hear this news. I say to keep it LAF relevant, let people post their models of Spock. Or, Bilbo Baggins. ;)

Sad indeed, but I also think that a figure of the only true vulcan would be good idea.

sad news

To boldly go.
I remember he was very kind and patient to a nervous young fan (me), years ago. :'(
-
:'( I was saddened to hear of his passing today. He'll be missed by fans and friends alike.
-
Crap.
I was saying when Rod Taylor passed, 'Once again sadness at loss can't stand to gladness of having had.'
It's not working on me now.
I give it a try in a couple of days.

Well that sucks. RIP mr Nimoy.
-
Greetings to Gene, Mr. Spock. We will miss you. RIP :'(
-
He was the greatest. I remember loving Trek before it was cool and Mr. Nimoy made me feel like it was OK to think big and dream.
-
I've just heard the news after watching voyager. To me he was the the face of Star Trek ( not Shatner ) and I'll always think of evil deceptcons when I hear his voice. I've got a signed autograph that was given to me by a friend who was a chef for Gordon Ramsey at Claridgers when he was staying there for a play he was staring in.
I think I'll be reading Primortals tonight while watching st:tng unification parts one and two. One of my favourite trek episodes.
R.I.P and enjoy the new frontier.
-
Another one of the greats from the best Space opera ever has left us. Sad day. :'( :'( :'(
-
RIP Sir. It seems you did indeed live long and prosper. Thank you for everything.
My condolences to the family.
-
So sad when I heard this news. RIP Mr Nimoy and condolences to his family.

"Change is the essential process of all existence." Spock,
Star Trek: The Original Series (Let That Be Your Last Battlefield)
-
Very sad news today. :(
-
One of my all time favorite actors & people. I had the pleasure of meeting the man a couple of times. He was always as kind & polite as his character Spock. A wonderful actor & truely great man. He will be greatly missed. :'(
-
Very sad day indeed.

Gutted...
R.I.P.

I'm going to miss him so much. Not only was he Spock, one of the great science fiction characters of all time, but he directed two of the best Trek films, He starred in many television series, both old an new. He was the bright spot in the otherwise dull fourth season of Mission: Impossible. His performance on Fringe was delightful. Someone already mentioned him as the voice of Galvatron in the Transformer movie. (Animated movie that is.) I'm forgetting so many things.
I raise my glass to this great man.
-
Yes, he also narrated one of my favorite shows as a kid: "In search of..."
Cheers,
Fred
-
RIP to the man :(.
I guess he is boldly going...
He had a good innings and will be fondly remembered for such classics as his role as Spock, his song about Hobbits and more recently, his adverts for Mercedes(?) where he teams up with the new Spock and puts the young upstart in his place.
A sad day :(
-
Very sad.
Was such a big part of my growing up, on TV, movies and all the rest he did.
The new guy is ok but he is only copying the original.... :D
Who will be missed.
What else can we say but:

Quite a career, going from a little known character actor, to one of the most recognizable characters in TV history. Really affected many lives. And seems to have stayed a nice guy through the whole thing. RIP.

Yes! Possibly the spookiest thing I've ever seen, that show. Something about the cinematography and his narration.
-
many many fond memories, RIP
-
I personally will always remember Mr. Spock’s timeless wisdom that was his logic, “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few… or the one.”
May your spirit race among the stars now, Leonard Nimoy, as surely and as easily as Mr. Spock will always travel among them in our imagination thanks to you.

his song about Hobbits
I've forgotten all about that. For those that have never heard it just youtube it and you'll see him in a different light.

I noticed The Big Bang Theory ended with an acknowledgement of how much the show, and the participants personally, owed him.
