I have painted some infantry units for the Great Northen War. It's the Russian Pskov Regiment and the Swedish Västmanland Regiment. The Russians are old school type of miniatures from a range comissioned by a Swedish minature Club called "Carolinen". The Sculpts are by Charles Stadden.

The Swedes are a mix of Wargames Foundry and Warfare minatures.

Great Looking cavalry and infantry. I loved painting the Nyland flag on my own unit. We are currently learning "Lilly under the Banners",so far we like them. Keep up the great work, looking forward to more. We are going to play Saxons vs.,Swedes at the SYW convention this month,Great Northern war game.

What scale are those Stadden figures? And are they still available?

Glad you liked them!:) Nyland are perhaps my favoritens as well. :) I have considered to try "Under the Lilly Banners". Those rules looks interesting. As for this Project we are going to use Black Powder. One tend to stick to the rules one is used to.

The scale is supposed to be 28mm. They fit in quite well with other 28mm, though they are on the thinner side. I no idea if they are still available. The only way to find out is to contact the club who comissioned them. They have the following address.....
