Lead Adventure has a lot more traffic than other forums so I tend to read this one mostly and it has a really easy way of catching up on what's new if I don't visit for a couple of days.

TMP (theminiaturespage.com) I read less and less nowadays..

The Wargames Website is now and still finding its feet a little so the forums aren't massively active and I still find them difficult to catch up on...

WD3 forum I still pop into occasionally but it is fairly quiet now.

I read TreeFrog Treasures forum for Toy Soldier news and chat

I very rarely look at Frothers now - I didn't like their last layout change so stopped reading it as much...

The Warlord Games Forum, LAF and The Wargames Website (TWW) are my favorite 'go to' forums these days.

Cheers,
Scott

LAF, The Guild and The Wargames Website mainly.

TMP just isn't anything like it used to be. :?

TBH the rules of laf prevent me from properly voicing my opinions on some of the other minis forums out there. Just assume its scathing with zero nice things to say about them both.  :D

I second that. lol

The only other one I really visit is DakkaDakka, but it can't compare to the variety of games, periods, genres and mini ranges dealt with here. I visit Tactical Command and Specialist Arms every so often when I get a GW Specialist Games itch. Went to WD3 for a short while but it didn't really click. I've been meaning to look at the Wargames Website but haven't got round to it yet.

I like The Wargames Website, but the navigation is till a little awkward for me.

TMP can actually be a quite enjoyable site to read and discuss, but is not really moderated, so you have to stifle/ignore anyone that is annoying and disable all modern/politically aimed boards (IMO). It might take some time to get the right balance, but I consider it still worth my troubles.

I find the Pendraken forum quite enjoyable.

Frothers has a lot to offer on miniatures, but much less on games. You also don't have to mind reading a lot of swearing  :)

WD3 and Loose Association of Wargamers are nice, but small forums that feel a bit like local clubs.

There are a lot of Facebook pages that are worth your trouble, if you don't mind Facebook. The Dutch Miniatures Wargames page for one, The Oldhammer Community and the Necromunda page are quite good.

Apart from this one, The Wargames Website and sometimes WD3. Occasionally I also visit the TooFatLardies Forum. Recently, the 15mm sci-fi Facebook group has been really nice and inspiring, it fills a gap after I left TMP because of… reasons.

LAF is pretty much the one and only for me, ironically first found from reading TMP.

TMP I am banned from but I still very occasionally post at Frothers.

I belong to a fair few other sites but very rarely view and don't post as I'd end up posting pretty much the same stuff as here and all that communication is no substitute for actually doing stuff.

One other place I do post is my project website, where I pretty much summarise my wip threads here, but as it's not a blog there isn't a comment facility so I'm pretty much talking to myself!

I will very very occasionally post on TMP, but that's about it. Mainly I keep an eye on a couple of the news blogs. Tabletop Wargaming News and Mini Créateurs are the main ones.

I've learned a lot over at The Guild; really helped me get my poop in a group where building up a nice WWII collection is concerned.

Great community at Fields of Fire Reloaded, but I spend less time there than I used to 'cause of the black-hole of WWII gaming.

My favorite being Lead Adventure Forum, TMP maybe once a week (for only two minutes), so you're in the right place here. Another one that's interesting is The Guild but haven't visited it recently because it's more (probably whole) 20mm orientated.

I get my daily amount of the latest wargame news through the world wide web and the companies themselves when they submit news for my Wargame News and Terrain website. So if interested, you can find a linky in the footer of this post.  ;)

(Used to be others too, but with limited time I just visit the best.)

I don't prowl TMP as much as I used to but it is still a good site to ask why did general so and so do that and what toys are being released.
I belong to WD3, some Yahoo groups and The Wargames Website but spend most of my time here, I've never cared for Frothers.

Here, of course, at least once a day, and frequently on my lunch hour or coffee break at work if I can manage it.

TMP briefly every other day or so, for the front page and about four of their sub-forums, and frankly out of old habit because the place has been around since the early Jurassic.

Reaper's forum about as often, because there's a couple of neat projects running and because it's a great group of people, very friendly.

The official Infinity forums more or less daily right now, because it's my most recent gaming interest.

A few other forums as and when I remember to check them.

Several mailing lists, though, via email, especially the TooFatLardies ML, which is full of great stuff and great people.

This is the only wargaming forum I follow anymore. It's cool, laid back, informative, useful and updates enough to keep me looking every day. I have no more useful advice than to stay here and make it a home.

TMP and Frothers have become a cult of personality and jumping each other's shark. If I could go back and delete all my old posts there I would disassociate my name from them completely.

In descending order of frequency of visits:

Loose Association of Wargamers
LAF
Pendraken
Baccus
Warlord
Dakka Dakka
Warseer

Banned from TMP, never been keen on Frothers so that is about it for me.

This esteemed forum, and the Very British Civil Forum are my main ports of call, but I also lurk on Frothers and Random Platypus, with an occasional dip into the Wargames Website.

My wargaming has been seriously paired back due to caring for a sick relative, I lurk here at LAF about once a week Frothers maybe once a fortnight maybe about the same with TWW, both for a quick scim. When things are back to normal it will be SD and LAF and a game and beer on Saturday nights... hooora!

I'm with cdm, for me I really would like to remove any trace of my time at tmp, it pains me to say it as I did enjoy it for quite a while then one day the straw and the camel collided,  have never looked back.

I'm active both on here and TMP, check both sites everyday. I also wander by the Frothers site now and then and sometimes I laugh till I cry at some of the posts on there. Some of them boys ought to take up comedy writing for a living.

These days I get a lot of my wargames infotainment from blogs and Youtube... but still visit LAF, Frothers and the Oldhammer forum frequently.
Won't go to TMP anymore but I'm not banned.

I'm fairly active on TMP, it just seems to have more historical content than other sites. Tried frothers, still figuring out the best way to navigate LAF.

Cheers
Martin

Use various blogs and you tube etc. LAF daily visit is usually an enjoyable visit.  Generally dont bother with others and avoid one of them

I check out the Oldhammer forum for old school goodness and keep an eye on Random Platypus as well although it's pretty quiet over there. Not bothered with TMP much and managed to lock my own account by ignoring the Editor anyway. Given up on Frothers for now. LAF is certainly the most active of the sites I use/have used (I know TMP is bigger but it's like a damned time machine back to the 90's!  lol ).

Here and TMP, not very active either here or there, more so on The Guild, which is weighted towards 20mm WW2 and so fine for me. Very helpful forum with plenty of willingness to share knowledge.

Here, TWW and The One Ring (for it's obvious LOTR focus!).  Not banned from anywhere but haven't been "there" for months.  I find my new focus takes much of the irritation out of the internet.

Tactical Command for EpicA (and any other 6mm SF)
http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/index.php
Dux Rampant for Dan Mersey's excellent rules sets, Dux Bellorum and Lion Rampant.

Others as mentioned; Wargames Website, Frothers (great site if you're that way inclined).
Banned from TMP and don't miss it. Certainly couldn't recommend it but I am biased.
