Hey folks,
I´m on sick leave for nearly 1 1/2 weeks now and had some time to put pics of my old Barbarian Grenadier army on my blog:
There is plenty of old Copplestone Barbarian stuff there:

Who is that figure, and can I find him somewhere? I think the top half of that figure would work well for my Prydain miniatures.
-
Gorgeous! I'm doing a Norse army right now, and will be adding this to the Prof's old barbarian army as my "Influence File" ie the place to steal good ideas from! ;)
-
Beautiful army. I really like the paint job on that leviathan beastie.

Hi Elbows,
he is a Copplestone Barbarian conversion. The main figure is from the Grenadier/Mirliton Barbarian Command Group 2.

Horns are from my bitz box and the head is from an old GW plasic skelli with some green stuff. He was inspired by the horned god from Slaine.

Looking good! I especially like the shields.

That's really nice!

Beautiful painting (and conversions) and a great collection of figures!

Great work on some of my all time favourite figures. I can see a Harlequin figure or two as well, what other ranges have you used?
-
Love the Leviathans and shields - great painting.
Hope you get better.

Nice new additions to the force.
I have had Adrian Smiths "Chronicles of Hate" sitting on a shelf for a couple of months now and finally read it this week.It is a great book and i am sure you would find inspiration from it for your force.
-
They of Massive Musculature look WONDERFUL here & even more so on your inspirational blog....GREAT brushwork & colors, especially your flesh tones & metalwork. VERY WELL DONE!
-
Many thanks guys!
And also thanks for the book advice. As today is my 41st birthday I got an amazon voucher. Perfect 😃

Happy birthday and i am sure you will like the book.Just going from some of the miniatures in your collection the Leviathan and Chronopia pieces i take it you like the settings. The Chronicles of Hate will give you plenty of idea's and it would be a good game setting for 15mm battles. Some of the creations would not really be possible in 28mm.Really looking forward to book two now.
